What to Bring

Each camper should bring bedding for a single twin bed (can be a sleeping bag), towels (shower and lake), shower shoes, toiletries, and other personal items; Bible, flashlight, bug spray, sunscreen, swimsuit, and spending money.* Optional items include indoor roller-skates or blades, fishing pole, camera, and a notebook.

 

*We have a snack shop and a gift shop/book store available. Spending money is suggested for each camper if they wish to purchase snacks or souvenirs during the week.

What NOT to Bring

Cell phones, computers, tablets, iPods, video games, playing cards, magazines, tobacco products, and weapons of any kind including pocket knives.

Anchorage Dress Code

Ladies/Girls

  • All clothing worn for daily activities should be approximately knee length, loose fitting (no leggings as outerwear) and have sleeves. Please no low necklines. 

  • For our evening service we encourage dressing up: knee length skirts/dresses or pants/jeans (not ripped) are appropriate - please avoid athletic wear. 

  • During water activities, a one piece swimsuit or tankini that overlaps at the waist is acceptable. 

 

​Men/Boys

  • All clothing worn for daily activities should be loose-fitting, approximately knee length, and have sleeves. 

  • For our evening service we encourage dressing up. Pants/jeans and a collared shirt are considered appropriate - please avoid athletic wear. 

  • During water activities, swim trunks and a t-shirt should be worn to the lake. 

Special Diet

LIf you have indicated you/your child requires a special diet, it is imperative that we communicate 5 to 7 days prior to the event in order to facilitate this request.  Email jeannie@anchoragecamp.org for more details.
